This morning, we once again welcomed CreativeMornings/Bristol for a talk that felt like a timely reminder of what local can really mean.

Hope Mayhew, a Bristol-based coach, facilitator and celebrant — spoke about ‘weaving the web of connection’: looking beyond the relationships we default to, and paying attention to the often-unsung ones that hold us up day-to-day — friends, neighbours, familiar faces, the people who make a place feel like home.

Through Hope’s work in creating spaces for connection and regenerative wellbeing, she invited the audience to get creative about nurturing local roots — and how strengthening those relationships can deepen our care for the communities (and ecosystems) we’re part of.
