Journey to work
Bristol has one of the best-connected cycle networks and it’s why we’ve worked with specialists Five at Heart to create Platinum certification cycling facilities (a first in the UK). Here you’ll be able to ride down a bespoke entrance ramp from street level into our spa-like storage and showers facilities.
That's all in addition to electric vehicle charging points and the famous Great Western Railway network close by.
Ready to ride!
With 296 cycle spaces, and spa-like lockers and showers, we’re all set to welcome your bikes, trikes and tandems. Catering for all shapes and sizes, even electric bicycles can be safely stowed and charged in our class-leading facilities.
Charging and parking
We have a full set of rapid electric vehicle charging points nearby. For more extensive parking there are a number of large NCP car parks a short walk away.
Trains from Temple Meads
Bristol and the south-west are famous for its great engineer Brunel, who devised the Great Western Railway that runs just a 4-minute walk from Welcome Building®.
With over 60,000 commuters passing through its platforms each day and about a 1.5-hour journey to London or Birmingham, it offers the perfect means to connect business to talent across the region and beyond.
East to London
London Paddington in just over an hour and half? Even better, now with the Elizabeth Line it takes just twenty minutes from there to Canary Wharf – or five to Tottenham Court Road.
Up to Birmingham
With a journey time of one hour 22 minutes, Birmingham New Street and the rest of the adjoining midlands are all within easy reach.
North to Manchester
A quick change halfway up and you can easily reach Manchester Piccadilly or Liverpool Lime Street in about three or four hours.
Float on down the Harbour
Leaving hourly, Bristol’s famous Water Taxis wind around the Floating Harbour dropping off passengers around the city for a night out or a gentle commute.
